Every day, more and more people require medical transportation whether it be to a doctor's appointment, to school, or maybe a ride home from the hospital. When picking your transportation company, who can you really trust with your loved ones? With all the overnight pop up transportation companies out there that seem to close just as fast as they open, how do you know if you're really picking the best one or, more importantly, the safest? Will you or your loved one be safe while in transport? How safe is the transportation company's vehicle? Is the driver that has you or your loved one properly trained? The list of concerns is endless.
On Sunday, June 7, 2015, On Time Ambulance provided Stand By Ambulance Service for the OHEL XTREME CHALLENGE in upstate NY at CAMP KAYLIE. Our Stand by EMTs made sure the participants of the OHEL XTREME CHALLENGE were safe while everyone had a great time running through the obstacles. Stand by service is a great way to ensure any event large or small is safe!
Earlier in May, On Time Transport had the pleasure of having Bryan Fass from Fit Responder talk to our field supervisor team. The goal of meeting with Bryan was to evaluate where the company stands and how it can improve in terms of not only preventing injuries, but also developing a stretching and lifting program that new employees (EMTs) and preexisting employees (EMTs) can incorporate into their work routine. The seminar is designed to teach the employer proper tools and knowledge that can then be passed on to their employees. By using this program, the employee is given the knowledge and skills to practice safe body mechanics and prevent injuries.

During the event Megan and Ron set up a table where On Time sponsored the Saturday breakfast for the three day event. The GCEMS Symposium offered free CEU's to NJ EMT's and promoted EMT employment.
